Chuseok is one of the biggest traditional holidays in Korea. Many Koreans take a long trip to their hometowns to reunite with their families and to pay homage to ancestors. As much as we loved to spend holidays with our beloved families, Filipinos tend to look forward to gather around to make the holidays superb.
Every year, Galilea and AFC organize a trip to explore beautiful places in Korea . And last September 25, 2007, some Filipinos gathered around to enjoy the stunning places of Everland and Seoul Land. Around 11:00 am, buses departed to its respective destinations.
Everybody were having fun riding breath-taking rides such as Rolling X-train, Double Rock Spin, Eagles Fortress, and Columbus Adventure at Everland. Black Hole and Sky-X are the well-known rides located in Seoul Land in which you get as high as 55 meters above experiencing thrills like Bungee jumping and Sky-diving. But others only preferred to just stroll around and take pictures of the scenic places. And finally, a fireworks display was carried out to mark the end of the wonderful holiday that we had. Despite the stress that we encountered on our work, we still look forward to this holiday. This is the time that we put behind the loneliness to our families and unwind from the strenuous days.

In Behalf of Fr. Noel Ferrer and AFC volunteers, we would like to thank all the Filipinos who never failed to support all the activities that we organized. Hope to see you all next Thanksgiving Day.
