EPS - POINTS TO CONSIDER WHEN PLANNING TO TRANSFER
By Galilea on 8:49 PM
Filed Under:
1.Do not leave your workplace without release paper signed by the employer. Make sure that a copy of the release paper has been submitted to the Employment Stability Center (ESC). Non-reporting to work for 5 days would mean that Employer will report OFW as run away. Problems will not be solved by running away. Consult POLO or Galilea immediately before even planning to run away.
2. The ESC will give job application form to the workers which should be returned to the ESC.
3. The ESC will inform the workers when to come back / when the job is available.
4. After the above procedures / basic documents have been completed, the workers can proceed to other ESC for other vacancies they can choose from.
5. It is suggested that before planning to transfer, workers should already scout for friends or migrant centers in their area where they can stay after they are released by the employer.
6. Workers should also be ready with pocket money for food, transportation expenses until they find another employment.
7. Remember that a worker is given two months only to look for a job after the transfer. After two months the worker’s stay will be considered illegal.
EPS - VALID GROUNDS FOR TRANSFERRING
