Every year the Ansan Filipino Community celebrates Moon Festival (Chuseok) by enjoying the enchanting beauty of Everland. Just like in the previous years, all Filipinos gathered to enjoy and be a part of this delightful event.
All buses departed from Ansan at 10:00AM. Everyone felt the excitement because after an hour and a half trip they could already release the stress they have from work. They brought their own digital cameras and everyone tried to be as charming as they can in posing at every corner of this paradise. Some were already contented strolling around while others enjoyed watching their friends in those breath-taking rides.
Though I wanted to try all the rides my stomach could not bear some of them. But I was able to experience some breath-taking rides like, Suspended Roller Coaster, Rolling X-Train and the Amazon River Ride.
An extravagant parade of lights was witnessed with awe at around 7:00 PM. I felt like a kid watching and being amused by the different images of lights.
After the parade we waited in the beautiful Four Seasons’ Garden for the presentation entitled "Olympus." It is a story about how Lasta and Laila have defeated their enemies and celebrated their triumph against hostile powers. It was an amazing presentation. Then followed by a grandiose display of fireworks.
Even though the adventure ended very late it was worth it because it was an exciting one, an experience to behold.
