Last 06 June, the qualified teams started to play for the AFC Basketball League Championship round. These teams were: Pangasinan Waves, Batangas Blades, Filkor and Cavite teams.

After the tedious game, Pangasinan team grabbed the title of being a Champion. A trophy and cash was awarded by Mr. Song. In addition to this, first and second runner-ups were given to teams Batangas and Filkor respectively. As a recap for the previous special awards during the opening day, Kabayan team reap the best in uniform award and the Best Muse was given to the beautiful lady from the team of Kadua. On that day also, AFC cultural dancers performed an intermission number entitled “Any Motion” and “Let’s get Loud.”

The last day of this League was very successful. We would like to thank the people who devotedly worked hard for this event especially the Chairman and members of Sports and Service Committees. Fr. Noel Ferrer SVD, Director of Galilea, and AFC President Michael Cacayuran would like to grab this opportunity to thank the Principal of Wongok High School for their kindness and for letting us used their gym.
The bottom line of this is that Filipinos are not only working hard for their jobs but also a sports-minded people. We hope that we can continue the Basketball League for the next coming years.
