Working abroad is a journey where you have to painstakingly take every single step until successfully arrive at a point which will usher you towards new, wider and challenging horizons.
Like the birds, from the secluded and void confines of its shell, it got out... struggled every moment to adapt to its environment, its new home...stretched out its wings...endeavored to fly, first to lower heights...just getting higher each moments of struggle. And now without stretched wings, it freely explores the vast skies, soaring up as high as it can, until it reaches a certain destination.
So too our journey of life had been and will be here in abroad.
We all have dreams. Each one of us dream of wonderful things to happen in our lives. One of which is a "greener pasture" for our loved ones. But those dreams were at times hindered by our own selfish interests, unanswered questions, uncertainties and limitations. We lose hope and it seems that we no longer could move on, the dilemma of being away from home.
Working abroad is not an easy task. It will take us a lot of courage, patience, and perseverance to survive the everyday struggle. Hindrance and pitfalls will certainly be there. But then, hard works plus strong faith in God will certainly bring us into our dream realization.
With God's loving hand and maternal protection from our Mother Mary of perpetual help will bless us, becoming more steadfast in our commitments and conviction.
Slowly then, we'll realize that going abroad is not merely a way of achieving our ambitions and dreams in life, but also a way of discovering the beauty within us; our heroism -- tending to sacrifice our own happiness for the sake of our loved ones. A way of discovering the real person that we ought to be -- strong and capable, which made us one in joy and in pain.
Now as we're continuously soaring...rising one step at a time to greater heights... hearts full of hope and optimism that within the horizon lies the goal...US! Emerging triumphant amidst our failure.
